LBMS FFA members volunteered at the South Plains Food Bank GRUB Farm for their FFA Day of Service! They buried a new drip irrigation line, planted pollinator flowers, and pulled weeds to prepare for the growing season. These selfless FFA members truly embodied the FFA Motto: "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve!"

Due to poor road conditions, LCISD buses will run on pavement and caliche roads only for the morning and afternoon routes on Wednesday, April 10. Students who live on dirt roads will need alternate transportation to and from school.

LCISD is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Moffitt as new head coach of the LCHS Volleyball program! Coach Moffitt brings extensive experience to the Lady Pirates, including coaching at the high school, club, and collegiate levels. As a four-time District Coach of the Year, Coach Moffitt has most recently led the Amarillo High School Volleyball team to an undefeated 2023 home season and a district record of 48-2, including a current 38-district-game winning streak. We are excited to welcome Coach Moffitt, along with his wife, two daughters, and son, to the LCP Family!
