LCISD Athletic Venue Policy
In order to maintain a safe and orderly environment for participants, officials, coaches, and fans, Lubbock-Cooper ISD has developed policies for our athletic venues. Unless otherwise noted, the following policies are applicable for all LCISD stadiums, fields, gymnasiums, and any other district athletic facility.
Clear Bag Policy
Lubbock-Cooper ISD enforces a clear bag policy for all school athletic events, including high school and middle school events of all competitive levels.
Please note: this policy is meant for fans attending athletic events hosted by Lubbock-Cooper ISD who will enter through the gate/doors via ticket or pass. This policy does not apply to the athletes participating in the athletic event, band members, athletic trainers, cheerleaders, or other school-sponsored student spirit organizations, or their coaches and sponsors.
Attendees of UIL-sanctioned athletic events will be able to carry the following style bag, package, or container into a Lubbock-Cooper ISD venue:
Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC
One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc or similar)
There is no limit to the number of clear bags an attendee may bring into the venue.
Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: purses/clutch bags, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags, binocular cases, and camera bags. Binoculars and cameras worn around the neck or carried in the hands without the case are permitted. Blankets and seat cushions/seat backs carried in the hands or over the shoulder are permitted.
General Guidelines
Only authorized persons are permitted on the field/court. Individuals with a sideline pass, students in uniform, coaches and sponsors, administrators, and police are permitted. Spectators are not allowed on the field/court before, during, or after the event.
Outside food or drink is prohibited inside all Lubbock-Cooper ISD athletic venues. Attendees attempting to bring outside food or drink into a Lubbock-Cooper athletic venue will be asked to dispose of prohibited items upon entering.
Any device which utilizes air to create noise is prohibited, including air horns, sirens, whistles, and similar devices.
