LCHS Advanced Floral Design students presented a workshop at the U&I Conference, focusing on improving health at home through flowers! Students helped participants create a simple arrangement with basic floral design techniques!

Mrs. Schaef's anatomy classes have been learning about tissues and skin, and Mrs. O'Pry's forensics classes have been learning about crime scenes and crime scene photography. The classes combined for a spooky, Halloween-themed CTE/science lab involving wounds and tissue layers!

Today's a rainy day, but we're looking back to last week's sunshine during Field Day hosted by the LCISD Special Education Department! Thanks to our fantastic Pirate participants and all of the schools who joined us!
Mr. Coulombe's students are using a CAD program to design their construction projects. They began with basic shop tools like push sticks, then created over 100 toolboxes for North Elementary, and are now hard at work on dog houses they plan to donate to Lubbock Animal Services!
