Superintendent Bryant joined area school leaders this morning for a Market Street shopping spree! The event kicked off The United Family's annual School Supply Fundraiser, which allows guests to donate funds at checkout to purchase school supplies for Lubbock area students. ✏📚🖍🎒
Shoppers can donate at any United Supermarkets, Market Street, or Amigos location. These funds support our students, helping them start school with everything they need for a successful year.
On behalf of our students, we thank The United Family and the many generous West Texans who plan to contribute to this worthwhile cause!

Congratulations to LCHS Assistant Softball Coach and Assistant Football Coach Brenon Rhodes, named TGCA SUB-VARSITY SOFTBALL COACH OF THE YEAR! In his fourth year of coaching, Coach Rhodes' favorite thing about coaching softball is the fast pace of the game, and how hard his players work and play for one another!
Congratulations to the LCHS students who represented our school so well at the FCCLA NATIONAL competition in Denver! Both teams competed in the Digital Stories for Change category. Miya Francis, Kendal Hodges, and Karli Petmecky received third place overall in the NATION, and Sonya Garcia and Cambrie Cline were Top Ten Finalists! Well done, Pirates!
Congratulations to LCHS Baseball Coach Brad Wuensche, named Lone Star Varsity COACH OF THE YEAR!
This is Coach Wuensche's 17th year coaching baseball, and sixth year as head coach. While he loves any time spent on the field and the excitement that accompanies competitive athletics, his favorite part of coaching baseball is the relationships he has been able to develop with his players, some of which have become lifelong friendships as they move past high school!
Congratulations to LCHS Track Coach Devin Ramby, named THSCA Track & Field Region I COACH OF THE YEAR!
This is Coach Ramby's tenth year coaching track, and sixth year as head coach. His favorite part of coaching track is witnessing the joy on athletes' faces when they reach the goals they have worked so hard to meet. He also enjoys the supportive community of track and field, particularly the way competitors celebrate one another's successes and help each other however possible!
