Opened in 1990, the campus has been home to thousands of Pirate students and staff, and has served as not only a reminder of where we’ve been, but a launchpad to where we’re going. For longtime LCP family members, LCHS is a visual representation of our extraordinary growth, and a tangible symbol of a community that never fails to support the needs of students. The renovation celebrated tonight will serve the LCP family for decades to come, and though it’s been significantly updated, the face of Lubbock-Cooper High School will remain the familiar source of pride it has always been.
Thanks to the Pirate Pride Band, Pirate Football, Lady Pirate Volleyball, Cheer, Pom, Pete the Pirate, LCISD Food Services, Local Legends Print Factory, and the many students, parents, employees, and friends of the district who made tonight’s event so special.
Praise to you, dear Cooper High School,
