There will be no school for Lubbock-Cooper ISD on Monday, November 7.
This is a student holiday, a UIL competition day for elementary and middle school UIL participants, and a staff professional development day.

We've seen a lot of great costumes today, but we're especially impressed by the LCHS Administration's uncanny resemblance to the cast of Ted Lasso! (We heard Mr. Winton got some assistance styling his wig from the Cosmetology Department!)

Government class isn't easy, but Mr. Enloe made learning about federalism fun and tasty with a celebratory meal! While those may look like regular chicken wings to the untrained eye, they actually represent the different layers of government! Sign us up!

Mrs. Schaef's anatomy classes have been learning about tissues and skin, and Mrs. O'Pry's forensics classes have been learning about crime scenes and crime scene photography. The classes combined for a spooky, Halloween-themed CTE/science lab involving wounds and tissue layers!

After earning STRAIGHT 1s at the UIL Region Marching Contest, your Pirate Pride Band is Area-bound! Congratulations to this incredibly talented group of students and fantastic leaders!
