Mr. Parrott's LBMS Wildlife classes welcomed two Texas Game Wardens into the classroom to speak on their careers. The Game Wardens also presented students who passed their Hunter Education exams with completion certificates!

Though today’s students did not live through the events of September 11, 2001, part of remembering the tragedy is ensuring future generations know and understand its impact on our nation. Principal Hendrix retold his own memories of that fateful day to Mr. Hemelstrand’s LBMS social studies classes as part of their unit on oral histories.

Due to poor road conditions, LCISD buses will run on pavement and caliche roads only tomorrow, Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1. Bus riders who live on dirt roads will need alternate transportation to and from school.
