With the support of a grant from the Lubbock-Cooper Education Foundation, Mrs. Brown's LBMS 7th grade Honors RLA students collaborated to publish their essays, poetry, and short stories in an anthology! Students celebrated their growth as writers with a book-signing party!
LBMS Student Council spent a morning volunteering at the South Plains Food Bank Grub Farm! They weeded, helped lay a stone walkway, and helped organize donations! This was a great finale to a successful school year of community service!

Mr. Parrott's LBMS Principles of Agriculture classes took advantage of the sunshine to make s'mores using their homemade solar cookers! They learned how to utilize the Sun as a renewable energy source to convert sunlight into thermal energy while enjoying sweet treats!
