LCISD Deputy Superintendent Thom Vines, author of Tragedy and Trust, has published another book!  Hope's Ante is a family saga following the triumphs and travails of the McGunter family.  After being released from a North Vietnamese POW camp, Ross McGunter develops a solar battery, becoming a mega-billionaire.  However, he is racked with spiritual doubt.  Hope's Ante details his personal struggle and power to overcome. All profits from Hope's Ante will benefit the Kelsey Vines Memorial Scholarship.

Also, Congratulations to Thom Vines and co-author John Michael Vestal, as their first publication, Tragedy and Trust, won third place in the Paris Book Festival!
