February 15th, which is scheduled as a snow day on the 2009-2010 calendar, will be the day we use to make-up our school closing on January 29th. Students will be attending school February 15th. |
Lubbock-Cooper Independent School District may delay the start of school or close school altogether due to bad weather or other emergency conditions. In the event of this, the superintendent will make the official decision concerning the delay or closing of district facilities. When these decisions become necessary, a mass notification will be sent out to district employees and parents/guardians via SchoolMessenger by 6:00 a.m. The notification will be sent to whichever mediums of communication have been previously provided to the district by the recipient (home phone, cell phone, e-mail, etc.), and will include pertinent information. The notification will also be posted on the district website, www.lcisd.net, and will be broadcast at the discretion of the following radio and television stations:

KLLL 96.3 FM
KFYO 790 AM
KFMX 94.7 FM
